My story

Hi there, I'm Sarah! I'm so excited you've found my website, and I look forward to connecting with you! I'm a makeup artist based in Northwest Iowa and while I'm an Iowa native, I love to travel! My favorite person to travel with is my wonderful husband, David. Together, we love to explore new cities, try new food, and take intentional time to learn from those who live differently than we do. 

My love for makeup began at an early age, thanks in part to the YouTube beauty community that began around 2010. From watching product reviews to "get-ready-with-me" videos, I've always been motivated to research the best makeup products and learn techniques to enhance natural beauty.

Also, I've always loved the process of getting ready with friends. As a makeup artist, I'm fortunate enough to play a role in that cherished "getting ready" space, and it's such an honor! I was that girl in high school, always helping girls with their makeup for prom or homecoming. These same friends eventually started getting married, and I discovered how much I love helping women feel confident and at ease on their wedding day.

I attended Glam Sophisticated Makeup Academy in Las Vegas learning new techniques in artistry and business. Since then, I've been focused on expanding my small business and connecting with remarkable women like you! It's not just about makeup for me-- it's about encouraging you in special life moments, enhancing your natural beauty, boosting your confidence so you feel like the best version of yourself.
